TechnoSmania 12 Fest by OU College of Technology

University College of Technology, Osmania University is organising annual Techno - Cultural fest TechnoSmania 12 for the year 2012. The festival will be held from 29th to 31st March 2012. TechnoSmania is an amalgam of three technical fests, ChemEquest, FoodSynergism, Texchroma and a literary and cultural fest Odyssey 12. A 3k run is also being organised on the campus on March 27 at 6-30 AM as a prelude to the festival. Details of the TechnoSmania can be availed from www.technosmania.org . Following are details of registrations and various programmes in the annual festival of OU College of Technology:

1) ChemEquest: Programmes include Techastra (Paper presentation ), Abhivyaktha (Poster Presentation), Blast Furnace (Technical Quiz), Nipuna (Industry Defined Problem), Guest lectures and workshops.

2) FoodSynergism: Programmes include Innovative product development, Food safety and quality management, Food packaging, Food biotechnology, Energy/ health drinks, Agri and agro products, Food fortification and enrichment, Food processing / food preservation, Nano technology in food industry and Equipment design / food engineering.

3) TexChroma: This is aimed at bringing together academicians, industry, scientists, technologists and students on a common platform to evolve new technologies in the fields of textiles.

4) Odyssey: A mix of programmes including Mini Cricket, Singing, General Quiz, Dance Competition, Short Film Making and Debate.

Fee for technical events is Rs. 200 per head.
