KUCET 2012 Notification for PG Admissions in Kakatiya and Satavahana Universities

Kakatiya University, Warangal has announced KUCET 2012 notification for admission to various Post Graduate Programmes for the academic year 2012-13. ICR applications in the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates for the Kakatiya University Common Entrance Test 2012. Seats in PG and PG diploma and 5 years integrated PG courses offered at Kakatiya University (Warangal) and Satavahana University (Karimnagar) will be filled through KUCET 2012 ranks and counseling to be held after the announcement of KUCET 2012 Results:

Courses offered at Kakatiya University (KU):
1) M.A in Telugu, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, History, Sociology.
2) M.Sc. in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Physics, Computer Science, Psychology
3) Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM), Master of Tourism Management (MTM), Master of Social Work, Master of Communication and Journalism
4) M.Com (Banking and Finance), M.Com (Financial Accounting)
5) PG Diploma in Sericulture, Clinical Biochemistry, M.Li.Sc, M.Ed, and 5 Year Integrated M.Sc courses in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

There will be no entrance test for MA Hindi, Sanskrit, M.Sc Geology and M.Sc Computer Science and PGD in Clinical Biochemistry courses. Admission to these courses will be through marks qualifying exam conducted by Kakatiya University.

Courses offered at Satavahana University: MA in Economics, Sociology, English, Telugu, Urdu, Master of Social Work, M.Com, M.Com (Financial Accounting), Zoology, Microbiology, Physics (Including Engineering Physics and Instrumentation), Food Science and Technology. There is no entrance test for M.A Urdu and admission will be based on the marks in qualifying examination.

Cost of applications is Rs. 250. Applications can be obtained from the Directorate of Admissions, KU on payment of Rs. 250 for PG and PG Diploma course and Rs. 350 for 5 Year Integrated PG Courses. Fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of Registrar, KUCET and payable at SBH, Kakatiya University Branch, Warangal. Candidates can also obtain applications by sending FF along with a self addressed envelope duly affixing Rs. 50 postage stamps.
