OUPGCET 2012 Notification for Osmania PG Admissions

Osmania University has released PGCET 2012 (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) notification for admission to various PG and Diploma Programmes for the academic year 2012-13. Along with OU, admission to MA, M.Sc, M.Sc. and other PG courses in Telangana University (Karimnagar), Mahatma Gandhi University (Nalgonda) and Palamuru University (Mahabubnagar) also will be held based on the ranks in OUPGCET 2012. These universities are offering PG programmes in the disciplines of Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce and Management and Humanities and Languages. Following are other details such as application procedure, fee and courses in various universities:

OUPGCET 2012 will be held in June 2012. Applications will be issued from 9th April 2012 from OU Campus Press, PG Admissions New Office and campuses of other participating universities. Candidates can also download application forms from OU website at www.osmania.ac.in . Completed applications along with necessary enclosures should be submitted at OU Admissions Office on or before 4th May 2012. Candidates can also submit applications till 11th May with a fine of Rs. 200 and till 18th May with a fine of Rs. 400.

The Cost of application for OUPGCET 2012 has been increased from Rs. 100 to Rs. 120. Candidates can apply for four subjects in a single applications. They should submit a separate DD for each subject. Registration fee for each subject is Rs. 150. Candidates who have downloaded the forms from the website have to pay Rs. 320 in the form of DD towards registration and application cost. Candidates should attach SSC Marks list and Caste certificate along with application form.

2) Last date for the receipt of completed applications: 04-05-2012
3) Last date with a late fee of Rs. 200: 11 May 2012
4) Last date with a late fee of Rs. 400: 18 May 2012
5) OU PGCET 2012 Dates: June 2012
