Following are details and comparison of EAMCET 2011 and Intermediate marks. These will help the EAMCET 2012 candidates in understanding the weightage process and estimation of their final Rank in EAMCET 2012. They can also estimate their rank based on the rankings of EAMCET 2011. Intermediate Marks will have 25 percent weightage in EAMCET rankings. This is being implemented from 2008 in Andhra Pradesh. EAMCET Marks will be aggregated for 75 percent and Intermediate marks will ba calculated for 25 percent weightage.
Weightage Process: For example Raju get 140 marks in EAMCET out of 160, his weightage will be 65.625. If he get 560 marks in Intermediate out of 600, then his Intermediate weightage will be 23.23. Now, Ramu's total marks are 65.625 + 23.23 = 88.995. This is the procedure being followed to calculate weightage.
