JEE Main 2013 Expected Cut Offs and Marks

JEE Main 2013 Examination has been completed. The online test is in progress. The candidates are eagerly searching for the probable cut off for JEE Advanced examination 2013. The candidates will be short listed for JEE Advanced based on the JEE Main scores and 10+2 marks / grades.

The IITs have announced that 1.5 lakhs candidates will be allowed to appear for IIT Advanced 2013 exam. The JEE Main ranks will be allotted based on the 40 percent weightage for Intermediate and 60 percent weightage for Intermediate / +2 marks.

Seats in NITs will be filled through JEE Main 2013 ranks after aggregating them with Main scores and Inter marks. Candidates who secure 180 and above marks in JEE Main and get top 2 percentiles in Intermediate / 10+2 is likely to get Engineering seat in a good NIT.

Following is the probable cut off for various categories of students in JEE Main 2013:

Open Category: 130 marks : 36 percent marks
OBC Category: 116 marks: 32 percent marks
SC Category: 65 marks : 18 percent
ST Category: 60 marks: 17 percent.
