The workshop is going to be organized under the project called Empowerment of Students and Teachers through Synchronous and Asynchronous Instruction. The teachers attend the workshop at a remote center close to their own college. They can also attend tutorial and lab sessions conducted at the same center.
The lecture transmission and live interaction with the teachers takes place through distance mode using the AVIEW technology and the internet at selected remote centers. There will be faculty coordinators at each remote center to handle the technology infrastructure and other operational logistics.
Along with this, there is a Workshop Coordinator for that respective subject who will enable a smooth conduct of labs and tutorials. For more details, see www.gitam.edu .
