More than 160 engineering colleges in Telangana region have been denied affiliation by the JNTU, Hyderabad on the grounds of lack of proper infrastructure, faculty and other requirements. These colleges have approached the Supreme Court to include them in the second phase counseling and submitted affidavits to ensure the quality requirements
as prescribed by the affiliating University.
The students who have qualified in EAMCET 2014 and not joined in any college so far can appear for the counseling which will commence from 5th November 2014. The certificate verification also will start from 5th November 2014. Other details can be obtained from the EAMCET 2014 website at eamcet dot nic dot in .
This is good opportunity for the EAMCET 2014 qualified candidates as several reputed colleges have not admit students in the first phase of counseling because of denial of affiliation by JNTUH. The students can also try for management quota seats in those colleges at the affordable fee structure as the colleges are desperate to start the batches.
