The IIT Kanpur will release the results of GATE 2015 exam on 12 March 2015. Candidates who have appeared for the exam in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science and Biotechnology streams can check their results on that date.
The results / scores of GATE 2015 will be used by various PSU companies for the recruitment of Engineering / Management Trainees. The PSUs like BHEL, GAIL, BEL, Indian Oil, ONGC, HAL, MOIL etc will short list the candidates for various posts based on GATE 2015 scores.
Candidates can check their results and download the score card from IIT Kanpur website. The Score Card can be downloaded from March 27 to May 29, 2015 through the website.
Candidates can also get a soft copy of their Score Card by applying to IIT Kanpur after May 29, 2015 and till December 31, 2015. The fee is Rs. 500. The GATE is conducted in the papers of CE, CS, EC, EE and ME. Candidates who qualified in GATE are eligible for M.Tech in various universities / colleges.
