JAM 2016 - Joint Admission Test for M.Sc and PhD in IITs 2016-17

Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) 2016 notification has been
released for admission into M.Sc and Integrated Ph.D admissions for
the academic year 2016-17. The JAM 2016 will be held on February 7,
2016.

The seats in PG and Dual Degree programmes offered at IISc Bangalore
(IISc) and M.Sc. (Two Years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D, M.Sc.-Ph.D. dual
degree, M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.- M.S.(Research) / Ph.D. dual degree and
other post-Bachelor degree programmes at IITs (Bhubaneswar (IITBBS),
Bombay (IITB), Delhi (IITD), Gandhinagar (IITGN), Guwahati (IITG),
Hyderabad (IITH), Indore (IITI), Jodhpur (IITJ), Kanpur (IITK),
Kharagpur (IITKgp), Madras (IITM),Patna (IITP), Roorkee (IITR) and
Ropar (IITRPR)) will be filled through JAM 2016.

Eligibility: Candidates should have at least 55 percent aggregate
marks. The exam will be held in seven disciplines. These are
Biological Sciences (BL), Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Geology
(GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH).

Online registration and application process will start from 2
September 2015. Last date for online application submission is 14
October 2016.
