Study Abroad Scholarshpis for SC Students of Telangana State - 2016

Department of SC Welfare and Development, Government of Telangana has announced scholarship scheme for foreign education for the academic year 2016-17. Students aspiring to study abroad (in USA, UK, Australia, Canada and Singapore) can apply Telangana ePass website. Following are details of qualifications and application procedure:

Candidates should have secured admission in a recognised university / institute in any of the above countries. The scholarship is applicable for courses in the disciplines of Engineering, Management, Pure Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Medicine and Nursing, Social Sciences, Humanities and other professional courses.

Scholarship amount Rs. 20 lakhs will be adjusted towards tuition fee, accommodation, and other expenses including onward journey tickets. Age of the candidates should be below 35 years as on 1 July 2016.

Interested candidates can register online through the website telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in . Last date for the online application submission is 30 June 2016. Candidates have to appear for certificate verification on 12 July 2016 at the office of Director, Masabtank, DSS Bhavan, Hyderabad.
