YSR Horticultural University M.Sc and Ph.D Admissions 2016-17

Applications are invited in the prescribed format by Dr. YSR
Horticultural University for admission into M.Sc. (Horticulture) and
Ph.D (Horticulture) courses for the academic year 2016-17.

Number of Seats: 36 regular seats and 4 seats outside state quota
(M.Sc.(Horticulture) with specialization in Fruit Science (7),
Vegetable Science (9), Floriculture and Landscape Architecture (6) and
Spices, Plantations, Medicinal and Aromatic Crops (4), Post Harvest
Technology (4), Horticultural Pathology (3), Horticultural Entomology
(3) seats with a total of 36 regular seats and 4 extra seats to
outside state students in above specializations.

Ph.D. (Horticulture) with specialization in Fruit Science (2),
Vegetable Science (2), Floriculture and Landscape Architecture (1) and
Plantation, Spices, Medicinal and Aromatic Crops (1) seats with a
total of 6 regular seats. One (1) extra seat is alloted to University
toppers in M.Sc.(Hort.) Programme (Inspire fellow) from outside state
universities over and above regular seats.

Qualifications: Candidates seeking admission into Masters Degree
course in Horticulture must have passed the relevant Bachelors Degree,
for Ph.D candidates need M.Sc.(Horticulture) from ICAR Accreditated
University.
Age: The upper age limit is 40 years.
