Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJSTSAU) has issued notification inviting application from Diploma holders in Agriculture and Seed Technology for admission into a four year B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture Degree programme through AGRICET 2017 and Diploma holders in Agricultural Engineering for admission into First year B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) degree programme through AGRIENGGCET 2017 for the academic year 2017-18.
Details of AGRICET - 2017:
Eligibility Requirements: Candidates should have passed in Diploma in Agriculture/ Seed Technology Diploma courses from PJTSAU/ ANGRAU.
Age Limit: The candidate shall be required to have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2017 with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 26 years in respect of S.C., S.T. and 28 years in respect of P.H Candidates.
Total Seats: Forty Seven (47) seats in B. Sc (Hons.) Agriculture (42 for Agricultural Diploma students + 05 for Seed Technology Diploma Students).
Details of AGRI ENGG CET - 2017:
Eligibility Requirement: A pass in Diploma in Agricultural Engineering Diploma courses from PJTSAU/ ANGRAU (Those who are going to complete in 2017-18 academic year can also apply).
Age Limit: The candidate shall be required to have completed 18 years of age as on 31st December, 2017 with an upper age limit of 23 years for all the candidates and 26 years in respect of S.C., S.T. and 28 years in respect of P.H Candidates.
Total Seats: Eight (08) seats in B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering).
Selection Procedure: Based on merit through the Entrance Test.
Application Procedure:
Completely filled in application in all respects along with 1 self-addressed envelope affixed with Rs. 5 postal stamp must reach by 5.00 PM on or before 03.07.2017, either in person or by post addressed to the Convenor, AGRICET/ AGRIENGGCET - 2017, Department of Entomology, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.
