100 More PG Medical Seats in Telangana in NIMS, Osmania, Gandhi and Kakatiya Medical Colleges from 2018-19

Here is a good news for the medical post graduate aspirants. About 100 medical seats are likely to be increased in various PG medical colleges in the state of Telangana from the academic year 2018-19.

The Central Government has already approved to increase 100 seats based on student : teacher ratio. The Telangana Government has sent the proposals to this effect and the Union Government has consented for the same.

70 Seats in PG Medical Colleges:

It is to be noted that there will be increase in the number of seats in Osmania, Gandhi and Kakatiya Medical colleges in Telangana. 70 more seats in the above mentioned colleges will be available from 2018-19.

30 Seats in NIMS:

30 more PG medical seats will be available in NIMS (Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences), as per the approvals of the Central Government. The final decision is awaited from the Central Government.
